Cooking with Tulsi leaves – try this simple recipe

Ingredients:

300 g boneless sliced chickenA a handful of fresh Tulsi leavesHalf onions, 4 cloves of garlic-sliced3, crushed2 slightly-3 fresh or dried red chili, sliced2 tablespoons chicken stock1-3 tablespoon oilHalf tablespoon sauceHalf tablespoon fish and soy sauceOne tsp sugar

How To:

Pan over medium-high heat and let it heat. You add the oil.When the oil is hot, add the chilli and garlic and sauté until lightly roasted chili and garlic is golden brown.Add the chicken and stir-fry for 30 seconds or so.Add sugar, soy sauce and fish sauce and stir for three to five minutes, or until cooked chicken.Add the onion and stir-fry another 30 seconds. If the mixture is too dry, add two to three tablespoons of chicken stock.Add Tulsi and give it a quick stir.Serve with cooked rice, with fried egg, as a side dish.
